John Wesley Jennings, 89, of Upper Saucon Township died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Louise M. (Weber) Jennings. John was born in Philadelphia on May 10, 1926 to the late Edward J. and Catherine C. (Troxell) Jennings. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He had worked for Mack Truck as an assembler for 15 years until retiring. John was also a self-employed upholsterer in the Lehigh Valley area. He was a member of St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Coopersburg.

In addition to his loving wife of 66 years; children: Marie C. (Robert R.) Klotz of Coopersburg, Jane J. (Jack Jr.) Conway of North Pitcher, N.Y., James W. of Coopersburg; sister: Marian (Hugh) Dugan of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Robert and Zoe Klotz, Kelly Wasson, Sabrina Whorrall, Jack Conway III, James Wesley Jennings; great-grandchildren: Sophia and Piper Klotz, Clay Whorrall.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 5050 Saint Josephs Road, (Limeport) Coopersburg. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday. The interment will conclude services at Calvary Cemetery, Upper Saucon Township.
