Man With Suspended License Crashed Car Into Stone Wall, Police Say

An Allentown man who was allegedly driving with a suspended license and without permission from its owner–his father–crashed into a stone wall on the west side of the entrance to Red Barn Auto, 2485 Applebutter Road, Monday afternoon.

An Allentown man who was allegedly driving with a suspended license and without permission from its owner–his father–crashed into a stone wall on the west side of the entrance to Red Barn Auto, 2485 Applebutter Road, Monday afternoon, Lower Saucon Township Police said Friday in a news release.

According to police, Francis Muzyka III, 35, of the 1900 block of Fairmount Street, hit the end of the stone wall shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Police said he told officers his father might have reported the vehicle stolen, but that it was actually listed as being driven by an “unauthorized” person.

Muzyka was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital for treatment of physical and mental health issues, according to the news release.

He has been cited for careless driving and driving with a suspended license, police said.
