Who Tampered With Lock on Old Abandoned House?

Lower Saucon Township Police said Tuesday they are investigating a case of criminal mischief at an abandoned home in the 2000 block of Polk Valley Road.

Has someone been spending time in an empty home near the Saucon Valley School District campus?

Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Tuesday that they are investigating a case of criminal mischief and criminal trespassing at an abandoned home in the 2000 block of Polk Valley Road, near the entrance to Polk Valley Park.

Police said it was discovered during a check of the township-owned house Monday that the locking mechanism used to secure it “was tampered with in a way that someone could access the home.”

Anyone with information about the case should call township police at 610-317-6110.
