Please continue to pray that he is safe and that he will reach out to someone soon. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and support.”

A 2009 graduate of Saucon Valley High School is missing, and family and friends have turned to social media to help spread the word about his disappearance.

Nathan “Nate” Gorkos, 24, was last seen leaving the Kutztown Pub in Kutztown at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12.

His sister, Lindsey Gorkos Sanders, said his car has been at his place of employment since he finished his shift there Thursday.

He is a Kutztown resident.

At the time he went missing, Gorkos was wearing a red plaid button-down shirt, according to a flyer that’s currently circulating on Facebook.

He is described as being white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Although he appears clean-shaven in the photos that are being circulated, he had a mustache when he was last seen.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Reading at 610-378-4011.

As of Sunday morning, posts about Gorkos’s disappearance have resulted in thousands of shares on Facebook and an outpouring of support and prayers for the Gorkos family, many of whom reside locally.

Friends and family members were planning to meet at Valentino’s–a restaurant on Rt. 222 in Kutztown–to begin searching for Nate at 1 p.m. Anyone who wants to participate in the search was being invited to meet there.

Gorkos wrestled at Saucon, and according to his Facebook profile he later attended Kutztown University.
