Free Dental Care Coming to SV Schools May 4-5

Est. Read Time: < 1 min

Saucon Valley students whose families might be struggling to afford dental care will have the opportunity to be seen by a dentist–for free–May 4-5.

“Smile Pennsylvania: The Mobile Dentists” will be conducting in-school dental visits with children in all grades that will include exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, X‐rays, sealants, education, referrals and other simple dental services such as fillings.

The dental exams will be conducted by teams that include a licensed dentist and a registered dental hygienist, according to a flyer about the program.

No child will be denied care, and on-the-spot grants will be offered without proof of financial status.

Each child who is seen will be given a dental “report card” to take home and a referral if additional dental work is needed.

Parents who want to take advantage of the on-site dental clinic will need to complete a permission form in advance.

More information about the program is available at MobileDentists.com or by calling 1-888-833-8441.
