Marvel Comic Book Artist Will Appear at Hellertown Library in July

A well-known Marvel comic book artist who lives in the area will appear at the Hellertown Area Library in July for a children’s drawing class and meet-and-greet that’s in keeping with HAL’s 2015 summer reading theme, “Every Hero Has a Story.”unnamed

Scott Hanna, who lives in Riegelsville, Bucks County, will lead two drawing classes on Wednesday, July 15: one for ages 9-13 from 5 to 6:45 p.m., and one for ages 13-18 from 6:15 to 8 p.m.

Hanna, who has created DC and Marvel comics for nearly 30 years, is the subject of a profile story in the current issue of Lehigh Valley Style magazine.

Pre-registration for this event is required. To register, call the library at 610-838-8381 or stop by during regular hours.

The library is located at 409 Constitution Ave., Hellertown.
