Hellertown personal finance author and financial planner Matthew Mellett will host a book-signing at the Moravian College Bookstore inside the HUB student union building on the school’s main campus, Monocacy and W. Laurel streets, Bethlehem, on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m.
In an email about the event, Mellett explained that he will be signing copies of his second book, Capture Your Wealth.
“Capture Your Wealth provides the game plan you need now to start building a life in retirement that is financially secure,” Mellett said. “Written for the millennial generation but helpful to all investors, Capture Your Wealth will help you evaluate your personal level of risk tolerance and teach you how to build a long-term investment portfolio that you can be comfortable with through market volatility.”
Mellett has worked in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, according to his biography. He earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Lehigh University and a master of science degree in personal finance from the College for Financial Planning. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from The American College and is active in the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Mellett is also the author of the book Go Simple: The Playbook to Financial Security.
