Cash, Laptop Computer Stolen from Unlocked Cars, Police Say

The laptop was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 10:48 a.m. Saturday, and was later found in a trash can in Allentown, according to Lower Saucon Township Police.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating thefts from two unlocked vehicles at different addresses in the same general area late Friday or early Saturday.

In news releases issued Monday morning, police said a Dell laptop in a leather briefcase was reported stolen Saturday from an unlocked Jeep in the 1600 block of Cross Lane.

The laptop was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 10:48 a.m. Saturday, and was later found in a trash can in Allentown, police said.

In the other incident, $40 in cash was reported stolen from a wallet left inside an unlocked Subaru in the 2000 block of Dennis Lane.

Police said nothing else was taken, and that the theft happened sometime between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Anyone with information about either theft is asked to call township police at 610-759-2200.
