Motorists should expect to encounter delays on Rt. 412 (Main Street) at the north end of Hellertown–on the Bethlehem border–Wednesday and Thursday, July 6 and 7, PennDOT said in a travel advisory issued this week.

On both days construction crews will be installing traffic signals/signage between Hess Avenue and Kichline Avenue between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.; work which will result in intermittent stoppages controlled by flaggers, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to travel through the work area with caution and consider using alternate routes.
