A South Whitehall Township woman was arrested and cited for harassment, after Lower Saucon Township Police say she repeatedly sent anonymous text messages to a 45-year-old male resident of the township, after being warned not to do so.

In a news release issued Thursday, police said Amy Beers, 42, of the 3600 block of Huckleberry Road, allegedly sent the messages on the afternoon of July 29.

“(The) department has dealt with her two times in the past for the same issue, and cited (her) both times for it,” police said.

According to online court records, Beers was found guilty of summary harassment in another Lower Saucon Township case in July.
