Man Had Heroin Packets, Syringe in Shopping Center Parking Lot, Police Say

A Bangor man is charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, after Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found sleeping in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in the Saucon Square shopping center lot shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A Bangor man was arrested for alleged possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, after Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found sleeping in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in the Saucon Square shopping center lot shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3.

In a news release issued Friday, police said Jordan Hughes, 28, of the first block of E. Central Avenue, “was under the influence of a narcotic” and “in possession of multiple packets of heroin and a syringe.”

Police said Hughes was processed and released at the scene.

The shopping center is located on Rt. 378.
