Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday that a North Carolina man was cited for careless driving, after he allegedly sideswiped an Allentown woman’s vehicle on Rt. 378 near Black River Road and then continued south on Rt. 378.

In a news release, police said Locklear Kurby, of the 500 block of Melinda Road, Maxton, N.C., was pursued by police because the woman whose car he allegedly sideswiped was able to provide a good description of his vehicle and its registration plate.

Kurby was eventually located and intercepted on Center Valley Parkway in Upper Saucon Township, police said.

The accident reportedly happened at 6:22 a.m. Monday.
