Lower Saucon Township Police are asking possible witnesses to a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Rt. 378 near Mountain Drive Monday to contact them.

Lower Saucon Township Police are asking possible witnesses to a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Rt. 378 near Mountain Drive Monday to contact them.

According to a news release issued Tuesday, a man walking north on Rt. 378 at about 7:50 p.m. was struck in his left arm by either the passenger side mirror or side of a northbound vehicle and suffered a minor injury for which he refused treatment.

Police said the vehicle was a silver or grey SUV that never stopped and continued to travel north toward the City of Bethlehem.

Anyone with information about the driver of the vehicle is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110 or 610-759-2200.
