PennDOT advised area residents Monday to be prepared for delays in the area of Rt. 378 and Seidersville Road in Lower Saucon Township, where there will be lane restrictions and a road closure for overnight UGI gas line work through April 24.

“UGI will (also) close Seidersville Road between Old Philadelphia Pike and Rt. 378,” PennDOT said in an advisory statement. “Traffic will be detoured on Old Philadelphia Pike, Black River Road and Rt. 378.”

PennDOT said the work will be performed weeknights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., although weekend work may be required in the event of inclement weather.

Motorists should expect significant delays in the area and use caution when driving through the work zone.
