PennDOT warned motorists to expect “signficant delays” on Rt. 412 in Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township Thursday afternoon and evening due to emergency gas line work by UGI taking place between Polk Valley and Meadows roads, near the borough-township line.
In a news release, PennDOT said workers will be on the scene until about 6:30 p.m.
Lane restrictions are in place, and motorists should use caution when driving through the work zone, or consider using alternate routes.
