When Lower Saucon Township Police were called to investigate a domestic disturbance in a home at 3515 Rt. 378 shortly after 10 p.m. April 30 they reportedly found drugs and paraphernalia allegedly left there by a woman who fled the scene.

In a news release issued Friday, police said Desiree Leann Hausman, 26, of the 1600 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, “left her personal items behind and fled the scene due to an active warrant out of Lehigh County.”

Police did not indicate what the warrant is for.

“The owner of the home did not want her personal items at the home once he found she was wanted,” police said. “Officers secured her personal items and located heroin, needles and a spoon.”

According to police Hausman will be charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In a separate but related news release, police said that as officers were in the home investigating the reported domestic dispute two of them “detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from a bedroom.”

Subsequently, police said, they found residents Ian Choffy, 27, and Jovanti Martz, 23, in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, for which they have been charged via mail.
