Marie T. Rasich, 81, of Hellertown, died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenbe
rg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Walter J. Rasich. She was born in Fountain Hill on Sept. 2, 1935 to the late Joseph and Mary (Vinkovics) Donchez. Marie worked at Dora Lee Manufacturing as a trimmer for many years and Lipkin’s Furniture as an office clerk. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown, and also worked at the former St. Theresa’s Thrift Shop. She was a waitress at the Dewey Fire Company and the Hellertown American Legion. Marie enjoyed shopping, yard sales, baking and traveling.
SURVIVORS
In addition to her loving husband of 59 years last August; children: Andrew J. (Sandra L.) of Lower Saucon Township, Rodney J. (companion: Wendy) of Nazareth, Kathleen M. (Giovanni) Colbertaldo of Ocoee, Fla., Cynthia M. (Edward J.) Wesolowski of East Allen Township; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister: Joanne.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown.
