James J. Lacey Jr., 83, Haycock Township died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Blackstone) Lacey.

James J. Lacey Jr., 83, Haycock Township died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Blackstone) Lacey, who died in 2014. He was born in Philadelphia on Oct. 31, 1934 to the late James J. Lacey Sr. and Mary I. (Volk) Lacey. James served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He owned and operated JL Auto Body, Colmar, for over 60 years. He was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Ottsville, and Knights of Columbus-Stommel Council 4545.

SURVIVORS

Children: Donna M. Lacey-Derstine (R. Andrew Derstine) of Harrison, Me., James J. Lacey III (Deborah A) of Haycock Township, Terri L. Lacey (William Shelton) of St. Louis, Mo.; siblings: Thomas (Barbara) of Furlong, John G. (Irene) of Lansdale, Ronald (Marsha) of Doylestown; 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by sister: Dolores Heins.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4040 Durham Road, Ottsville. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Parish Cemetery. CONTRIBUTIONS
