St. Theresa School’s CYO Volleyball Team Has Undefeated Season

St. Theresa School’s varsity CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) volleyball team had an undefeated season this year before losing a close final playoff game to St. Anne’s.

St. Theresa School’s varsity CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) volleyball team had an undefeated season this year.

The team won all of their games, which placed them in a final playoff game against St. Anne’s of Bethlehem.

“It was a difficult game and St. Theresa’s lost 2-1, placing them second in the CYO District 1 Volleyball league,” a school news release stated.

“Each of the players was awarded a silver medal,” the school reported. “Most of the young ladies have playing together for the past four years. St. Theresa parish and the school are very proud of them and their achievements!”

The 2017 varsity volleyball team members included Emma Crago, Lilly Crago, Hayley Hartranft, Micaela Jebitsch, Vivian Kelahan, Molly McMennamy, Abby Quinn, Mikaela Ryder and Johanna Zimmerli. The team was coached by Mike Ruhl, Tammy Hyde and Joe Kelahan.
