Lower Saucon Township Police say an Allentown man is facing charges after he was allegedly found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance and to be in possession of synthetic marijuana following a traffic stop Oct. 15.

Lower Saucon Township Police say an Allentown man is facing charges after he was allegedly found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance and to be in possession of synthetic marijuana following a traffic stop Oct. 15.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Kevin C. Osorto, 27, was stopped at 1:30 p.m. at Rt. 378 and Black River Road for an alleged traffic violation.

Police subsequently determined that Osorto was allegedly driving under the influence and driving under suspension (DUI), the news release stated.

Osorto was also allegedly found to be in possession of two packages of the synthetic drug–which is a controlled substance–police said.
