Hurricane Classic Wrestling Update (Brought to You by Spirk Brothers Inc.)

The Saucon Valley Panther wrestlers put their holiday break on hold to test themselves in the Hurricane Holiday Classic.  Hosted by Liberty High School, this two-day tourney has a serious reputation for quality and competition.   Local big shots like Nazareth, Parkland, Easton, Phillipsburg and Northampton joins teams from out of the area like Blue Mountain, Cocalico, Delaware Valley, Northern Lebanon, and Pennridge.  The Panthers are one of thirty-one tough, high school teams competing in the Hurricane Classic!

Hurricane Classic Update (Thursday’s Results):

As a team Saucon Valley is currently in 5th place.  Individually, the Panthers have two grapplers (Josh and Jason Jones) who survived Thursday’s Hurricane and made it to the semifinals.  The Jones brothers remain alive in the Championship Bracket.  Four other Panthers are still alive in the consolation bracket.
