Fountain Hill borough police said Saturday they are investigating “numerous burglaries and thefts from garages and vehicles that occurred overnight.”

The announcement was made in a Nixle alert sent to subscribers via email.

“Please make sure everything is always locked and secure,” police said.

Residents should check to make sure their windows, doors, garage doors and vehicles are locked, they added.

Anyone who may have observed suspicious activity Friday night is asked to contact the Fountain Hill Police Department at 610-437-5252 (non-emergency number).

Police also requested that anyone with surveillance equipment review the footage from their security cameras and contact the department if anything suspicious is found on it.
