Paul E. Dieterly, 82, of Lower Saucon Township died Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 at his residence. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Hellertown.

Paul E. Dieterly, 82, of Lower Saucon Township died Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Ruth T.A. (Glass) Dieterly. He was born in Lower Saucon Township on Oct. 4, 1935 to the late Arthur C. and Mary Ann “Mamie” (Muschlitz) Dieterly. Paul worked a lifetime at the Quakertown Live Stock, at Quakertown Farmers Market in maintenance for 30 years and at the Zinc Co. as a certified expert in underground dynamite for 20 years. Paul was a member of Ebenezer New Reformed Church, Bingen, and a driving force of the food bank at the church. He was also a life member of Leithsville Fire Co. and the former Monocacy Field & Stream Association. He was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene, Bethlehem.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife of 64 years; children: Mark E. (Susan M.), Noah W., Mary A. (Frederick Gaasche), Arthur C. (Dottie), all of Hellertown, Tonya (Chad) Koch of Orefield; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at the Ebenezer New Reformed Church, 3221 Bingen Road, Bethlehem. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Bingen Sunrise Memorial Cemetery.
