A Hellertown man is charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and prowling, after borough police say he allegedly banged on the doors of homes while high on methamphetamine in the 1200 block of First Avenue at approximately 5:45 a.m. Sunday.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Timothy Patrick Larkin II, 28, was “severely intoxicated” when police apprehended him on Main Street after receiving a call about suspicious activity in the neighborhood.

Police said Larkin told them he had used “a lot” of meth “and was looking for someone at that address.”

Larkin was released to the custody of EMS and later charged, police said.

As of Tuesday morning, online court records had not yet been updated to indicate when a preliminary hearing for Larkin will be held.
