Education Foundation’s March Madness Fundraiser Set for March 30

If you love college basketball, raffles, fun with friends and supporting educational opportunities for Saucon Valley students you won’t want to miss the Saucon Valley Foundation for Educational Innovation’s annual March Madness fundraiser Saturday, March 30 at Steel Club in Hellertown.

If you love college basketball, raffles, fun with friends and supporting educational opportunities for Saucon Valley students you won’t want to miss the Saucon Valley Foundation for Educational Innovation’s annual March Madness fundraiser Saturday, March 30 at Steel Club in Hellertown.

The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. and will include dinner, cash bar, one free drink ticket per attendee, televised broadcasts of multiple basketball games during the evening, a 50/50, raffles and a silent auction.

Among the many silent auction items will be:

  • Two tickets to the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black Course in Bethpage, N.Y.
  • First, second or third row seats to the 2019 Saucon Valley High School graduation ceremony in June
  • 2019-2020 Saucon Valley High School and Saucon Valley Middle School musical tickets
  • Saucon Valley sports passes
  • Saucon Valley High School reserved parking spots
  • Cirque du Soleil ringside seats
  • Lehigh Valley IronPigs tickets
  • Gift cards and baskets

Advance tickets are $55 per person or $100 per couple. Beginning March 25 tickets are $60 per person or $110 per couple.

Tickets can be purchased online via the Foundation’s website or by mail/in person, payable to SVFEI, at c/o Saucon Valley School District Office, 2097 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown, PA 18055.

The Saucon Valley Foundation for Educational Innovation’s mission is to provide innovative learning opportunities for children in the Saucon Valley School District. Since its inception, it has raised private funds and in-kind donations for projects, programs and creative experiences beyond the scope of the school district budget for students in grades K-12.
