Car Stolen on State Road, Springfield Township Police Say

The Springfield Township Police Department said Monday that it is investigating the theft of a 2013 Kia Optima sedan from the 900 block of State Road, which occurred last week.

The Springfield Township Police Department said Monday that it is investigating the theft of a 2013 Kia Optima sedan from the 900 block of State Road.

The car is described as a black four-door sedan bearing PA registration KGC-1468.

A car that is similar to the one reported stolen in Springfield Township.

Police said it was backed into the owner’s driveway Thursday evening and discovered to be missingĀ on Friday at approximately 6 a.m.

“The vehicle may still have electrician’s tools inside,” police said in their Crimewatch post about the theft, which has been entered in the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything during the overnight hours of March 7-8 is encouraged to contact the Springfield Township Police Department at 610-982-5411.
