Marion L. Hoffert, 77, of Upper Saucon Township died Monday, April 8, 2019 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. Marion was born in Quakertown on May 24, 1941 to the late Harold C. and Evelyn M. (Bleam) Mease. Marion worked as a manager in the men’s department at Q-mart in Quakertown. She also was a manager in the ladies department at the former Laneco in Coopersburg and worked for Baringer’s Meat Market in Allentown until retiring in 2011.
SURVIVORS
Children: Tracy L. (Dale A.) Hacker of Quakertown, Michael A. (Christl M.) of Upper Saucon Township, Steven E. (Gail L.) of Palmerton; sister: Evelyn L. (Wayne) Mackiewicz of Sellersville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was predeceased by her brothers: Harold and Linford Mease.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a service 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Valley.
