A small section of roadway that is used by some drivers as part of a short cut between Hellertown and Springtown will become a one-way street next week, according to yellow advisory signs posted along it.
The affected thoroughfare is the section of Springtown Hill Road between Lower Saucon Road and Rt. 212 (Main Street) at the western end of the Upper Bucks County village.
The signs say it will become a one-way road on Thursday, July 11.
It was not immediately clear which direction the one-way traffic will travel in on the east-west road, since recently-installed road signs remained covered with black plastic.
Saucon Source has reached out to Springfield Township officials to request more information about the upcoming traffic pattern change.
