Saucon Valley Cross Country held a meet in the district stadium Tuesday in which 321 runners from eight schools participated in three 5K races. The other participating schools included Moravian Academy, Notre Dame-East Stroudsburg, Notre Dame-Green Pond, Palmerton, Palisades, Northern Lehigh and Northwestern.
Some highlights of the day which were shared on Facebook by the Saucon Valley Athletic Department were:
- Boys Cross Country: Matt Chaikowsky finished first out of 98 runners with a time of 16:11.
- Girls Cross County: Emma Szydlow crossed the line in 14th place with a time of 22:10, with Emma Bernstein not far behind her in 15th place.
