Ronald E. Abel, 56, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 at his residence. He was the companion of Deborah A. Figueroa. He was born in Quakertown on Nov. 22, 1963 to the late Albert Leroy and Helen Irene (Rodenbach) Abel. Ronald worked in maintenance at the former Mineral Fiber Specialists and more recently at National Magnetics, both in Bethlehem. He was an avid Harley-Davidson collector. Ronald loved tinkering and fixing things and helping anyone who needed a hand. He was of the Lutheran faith.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his companion of 18 years; siblings: Linda J. Reinhart of Quakertown, David R. Abel (Terese) of Kintnersville and Karen N. Ebert (Kyle) of Walnutport; niece: Michaela Ebert of Walnutport; nine step-grandchildren.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
