A new Hellertown yoga studio celebrated its grand opening with a well-attended ribbon-cutting ceremony held with the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce Tuesday.

All Bright Yoga is located at 766 Main Street and is the successor to YogaMos, which moved to that location and operated there briefly after owner Stephanie MoDavis relocated from the 400 block of Main Street.

All Bright Yoga owner Colleen Albright purchased the business and has reopened it in a space that features gleaming hardwood floors, white walls and symbols of serenity and natural harmony.

She thanked those present at the ribbon-cutting, who numbered in the dozens, for their support in her endeavor, which is her first yoga studio after years of being a practitioner of the physical and spiritual discipline.

According to Albright, her mission with All Bright Yoga is to help bring yoga to everyone by offering small, supportive classes for all experience levels.

Hellertown mayor David Heintzelman addresses a crowd gathered outside All Bright Yoga on Tuesday. Heintzelman delivered welcoming remarks at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business at 766 Main Street.

Hellertown mayor David Heintzelman was on hand, along with borough council members and officials, to help welcome All Bright Yoga to town.

Heintzelman joked about how he would look wearing spandex to a yoga class at the studio.

“That was not funny,” he deadpanned as the crowd erupted in laughter. “But one day you might get me here,” he teased.

“Seriously, it is a big step, and when I see someone that has invested in the community so much, and see what you have done now for the betterment of the community, I feel blessed, and this town has been blessed,” he said.

The ribbon-cutting and open house–which featured hors d’oeuvres and wine from Black River Farms in Lower Saucon Township–was the second to be held in less than two weeks on Main Street in downtown Hellertown.

On Feb. 28, the ribbon was cut on three new businessesLindsay Albert, EA, Ben Chunko of Liberty Wealth Management and Saucon Source LLC–that recently opened first floor offices at 656 Main Street.
