SUMMARY:British Motorcar Gathering
DESCRIPTION:More than 200 vintage British sports cars will be on display when the annual British Motorcar & Motorcycle Gathering returns to Alfred J. Fritchman Reservoir Park in Hellertown. \nThe public is invited to come see many beautiful and interesting classic cars and enjoy the day in the wooded park Sunday\, June 8\, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, with music and catered breakfast and lunch food available in a large picnic pavilion. \nAdmission is $5 for adults and $10 for the entire family. Children 12 and under admitted free\, with a British car coloring book and a car search game provided for their education and entertainment. \nAdmission includes parking at Saucon Valley Senior High School\, 2100 Polk Valley Road\, Hellertown\, and free trolley bus rides running a continuous loop to and from the park during the show. Spectators also get a free ticket for a special gift basket raffle\, being held just for those who have come to see the cars. \nThis show–now in its 31st year–features MGs\, Triumphs\, Jaguars\, Austin-Healeys\, Morgans and Minis from throughout the region\, plus many rarer vehicles. DESCRIPTION:Step back in time on one of the Hellertown Historical Society’s public tours\, which are offered at 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturday of the month through Oct. 25\, 2025. Tours are held at the historic Heller-Wagner Grist Mill Complex and include the Colonial era Wash House\, the Grist Mill Museum and the Pole Barn\, which houses early blacksmithing\, woodworking and farming equipment. Visitors will learn about Hellertown’s early settlers\, the Heller family’s role in developing the community and the town’s evolution into the 1900s. \nTickets can be purchased in person at the Miller’s House Gift Shop\, which is open Tuesdays\, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. While walk-ins are welcome\, pre-scheduling is recommended to ensure availability. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Music in Dimmick Park Summer Concert Series is presented by the Borough of Hellertown and the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce with support from Northampton County’s Hotel Tax Program. This year’s series features four free shows at the park bandstand. The performances are all from 6 to 8 p.m. The 2025 concert dates are: \nSunday\, May 18 – Toga Party Band (Classic hits)\nSunday\, June 29 – Hunkajunk (Pop/rock)\nSunday\, July 27 – Still Kick’n (1950s – 1990s)\nSunday\, Aug. 24 – Nikki Briar Band (Country) \nDuring each performance\, food and beverage sellers will be on hand at the park\, where there will be a different nonprofit selling food at the pavilion each night.
