Panther Play of the Week: Mahaffey Hits Csencsits in Traffic (Brought to You by Hellertown Bakery)

On Saturday night with their victory over the Lehighton Indians, Saucon Valley advanced into the District XI semifinals. The Panthers got off to a great start and never looked back.  No doubt, with 56 Panther points put on the scoreboard, there were many great plays throughout the game to choose from for this week’s Panther Play of the Week.

Panther Play of the Week: Sizzler Pounds the Pirates (Brought to You by Hellertown Bakery)

On Friday night with their victory over the Palisades Pirates, Saucon Valley was able to snap a two-game losing streak. The Panthers, including the area’s leading rusher Ian Csicsek, played all four quarters against the Pirates to seal the win.  Csicsek had another monster night carrying the football and finds himself as the focus of this week’s Panther Play of the Week.

Panther Play of the Week: Sorensen’s Diving Catch for the Lead (Brought to You by Hellertown Bakery)

It was another tough loss for the Panthers in what was the Colonial League championship game.  Saucon played their hearts out, but came up just short. Nonetheless, the Panthers did make a bunch of awesome plays worthy of any highlight reel.  Here, we share a play-action, bootleg pass from Dante Mahaffey (#12) to Dale Sorensen (#44).  It was an athletic throw with a spectacular catch in the back of the Panther end zone.

Panther Play of the Week: Kyra Toe-Taps for 6 (Brought to You by Hellertown Bakery)

It was a tough loss on Homecoming night for the Saucon Valley Panthers.  Saucon needed to play a near-perfect game against the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers, but they just couldn’t get it done.  Nonetheless, the Panthers did make a bunch of awesome plays worthy of any highlight reel.  Here, we share a touchdown pass from Dante Mahaffey (#12) to Justin Kyra (#22).  It was a beautiful throw with a spectacular catch in the back of the Panther end zone.
