Olde Stone Farm owners Jim and Amy Koch weren’t quite sure what kind of response their Harvest Days event would receive when it opened Saturday, but by Sunday they were welcoming visitors to the corn maze Jim created like they’d been doing it for years. Harvest Days continues through the end of this month.
There’s hardly a better place to enjoy July 4th weekend than right here in Eastern Pennsylvania, where there are seemingly endless fun activities to do. We’ve put together the following list of a few ideas for ways to spend the upcoming holiday weekend.
The time of year for the annual summer Lower Saucon Township Parks Program is rapidly approaching. The program–which is run by the Saucon Valley Community Center–is open to children who have completed grades K-6 and reside in Lower Saucon Township, which subsidizes its cost.
Fall fun for the whole family is what’s on tap at Neighbors Home & Garden Center’s Fall Festival in Hellertown on Saturday, Oct. 14.
The second Saucon Creek Arts Festival will be held at Heller Homestead Park in Lower Saucon Township on Saturday, June 4.
The Art Establishment in Fountain Hill–a working visual arts studio open to everyone, regardless of ability–will offer one-week Creation Station summer art camps for kids from June 20 through Aug. 19, 2016. Morning, afternoon and all-day camps are available along with flex passes for drop-in sessions.
