True Crime Author to Give Talk in L. Saucon

A well-known true crime author will present a free talk about famous murders and other scary subjects at the Lower Saucon Township Historical Society on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. in Seidersville Hall, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem.

Dr. Katherine Ramsland is an internationally famous true crime author and murder expert who calls the Lehigh Valley home. She teaches forensic psychology at DeSales University in Upper Saucon Township.

Dr. Katherine Ramsland, who teaches forensic psychology at DeSales University, has published 56 books and more than 1,000 articles on subjects ranging from vampires to serial killers to famous murders.

An internationally known expert in her field, she has researched and written about thousands of murders and has appeared on nationally-broadcast news magazine shows such as 20/20 and 48 Hours, as well as History Channel, Discovery Channel and A&E documentaries.

Although she has written about famous murders from around the world, Ramsland is interested in local murders too, a press release from the historical society said.

Light refreshments will be available at the presentation, which is open to the public.
