Song Fest is a hidden treasure of an event. It will be an amazing night where 127 students from 29 schools come together to harmonize their musical gifts and provide you with an enjoyable 45 minute choral concert performance.

Those who perform in Song Fest are selected out of thousands of students through an audition and recommendation process. The students diligently practice their music for months before coming together for rehearsal. Their practice and efforts culminate in this evening concert.

This year the students have the honor of working with guest conductor Patricia Joyce who, among her many accolades, has conducted the Central New Jersey Junior High Honors Choir, the Central New Jersey Elementary Honors Choir, the North Jersey Junior High Women’s Honors Choir, and the Vermont Children’s Choir Festival.

The Song Fest choir will sing a wonderful array of songs including a movement from Mozart’s Mass in C Minor “Laudamus Te,” a Spanish language song, “Cantar!” and an Emily Dickinson poem “Will There Really Be a Morning?” Several teachers will be featured on accompanying instruments such as french horn and flute.

You will not be disappointed. This is going to be a beautiful, enjoyable evening of song!

Please come out and support these amazing students. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students.
