Pets in Need of Homes: Jackson (Brought to You by A Furry Tail Come True)

Est. Read Time: 2 mins
Hello! My name is Jackson. I’m one of the newer guys here at the Center. I had a family since I was a pup and I thought things were good. I lived with kids and a couple small dogs (and I loved them all) but sometimes life happens (things beyond your control) and unfortunately me ending up at a shelter is one of the results. When you see me in my kennel I am sad and may even growl, but it’s because I’m used to living in a home, so I’m scared here. Take me out and get to know me though, and I’m a whole other dog. Although I can still be skittish (loud noises and some men frighten me) once I’m out of my kennel and am allowed to go at my own pace, you will see me relax and possibly even a smile on my face! I love going for walks and I like treats and if you are calm and gentle with me, I may even want to get up close and personal with you. I may require a couple of visits before we can be trusting and 100 percent comfortable with each other, but I’m game if you are to get this party started!
