UPDATE: Kelly Reilly-Rice reported Monday evening that her missing sheep, Summer, has returned home on his own. “I went everywhere to find him,” she said, “but he came back home to find me! Not a minute (was) lost looking for him either!”

A Lower Saucon Township resident is asking for help with locating her lost sheep.

Kelly Reilly-Rice reported Sunday evening that her intact male Tunis sheep named Summer went missing from her family’s farm at 2240 Reilly Lane late Saturday morning (Oct. 22). That is off Mockingbird Hill Road, between Easton Road and Apple Street.

“I posted on Facebook and also contacted the police,” she said in an email.

Reilly-Rice said she believes the sheep was spooked and chased off her property by a neighbor’s dog.

“He is all alone and his friends at the farm are missing him dearly. I am too,” she said.

He is described as friendly, light tan in color, and with a white tag in his left ear with the number 0007 on it.

He was last seen by a neighbor, “very lost” and heading through the woods near Reilly Lane toward Wassergass Road, Reilly-Rice said.

If you see this sheep please call Reilly-Rice a 267-377-7864.
