When it comes to decorating with Christmas lights, there’s going big…and then there’s going BIG.
The owners of a home at 2303 Woodland Drive in Salisbury Township–near the Summit Lawn exit on I-78–are definitely proponents of the latter approach.
A towering evergreen tree strung with LED lights and adorned with a star on top is even visible from I-78, especially on overcast nights. There is also a Nativity scene and many other light-filled wonders to behold throughout the yard, nearly every square inch of which is decorated.
This year’s display certainly lives up to the high standards the owners have set for themselves in the past.
According to a December 2010 article by Morning Call Christmas lights guru Bill White, the home is owned by George and Pat Saunders, and is professionally decorated to achieve the perfect look.
To view the display, turn take Rt. 145 to W. Rock Road. If you’re heading toward Allentown, turn left and cross over the Summit Lawn overpass. Proceed around the bend about a quarter of a mile. The Saunders home will be on your left.
