Saucon Valley’s Monftford E. Illick Stadium was buzzing yesterday as the Boys’ and Girls’ track team hosted Pen Argyl in their home opener. The Girls’ had a great day defeating the Green Knights handily by a 108.5 to 41.5 score. On the Boys’ side it was a very competitive meet with Pen Argyl clinging to a 78-72 victory. The Saucon Girls improved to 3-1 while the Boys dropped to 0-4. It is certainly worth noting that Coach Kolosky believes the Boys’ record is misleading. He pointed out, “The boys record hardly reflects their work ethic. They leave it out there everyday!”
