Saucon Valley Dance Conservatory’s Say You Love Me performs at the ‘Beyond the Stars’ National Championship dance tournament in Atlantic City earlier this summer.
Saucon Valley Dance Conservatory competition teams attended the “Beyond the Stars” National Championship competition in Atlantic City the week of July 16, 2017.
Three groups–Dream Big, River and Say You Love Me–won National Championships.
Dream Big won Diamond, first overall and was chosen for the Ultimate Challenge; River won Diamond, first overall and was chosen for the Ultimate Challenge; and Say You Love Me won Diamond and first overall.
Dream Big dancers are Natalie Chambers, Ava Dyer, Keira Fleming, Emma Harvey, Caitlin Kernick, Peyton Markle, Paige Rosenberger, Bela Silverman and Katarina Van der Walt.
River dancers are Olivia Brucker, Nia Cain, Haley Clark, Meghan Fainor, Hailey Fleming, Payton Johnson, Angela Madajewski, Caylin Markle, Ashley Olimpo, Jenna Peterson, Joslynn Rose, Caitlin Kernick, Julia Schmidt and Aquinnah Silverman.
Say You Love Me dancers are Olivia Brucker, Haley Clark, Kaleigh Dyer, Meghan Fainor, Hailey Fleming, Payton Johnson, Valerie Pena Mia Porter and Joslynn Rose.
Miss Kristin Hantz choreographed Dream Big and Say You Love Me and Miss Holly Brucker choreographed River.
Other group dances/placements were:
- Pep Rally earned Platinum and third overall
- Survivor earned Platinum and eighth overall
- Feeling Good earned Platinum and second overall.
Solos were:
- Kaleigh Dyer earned Diamond First Overall and won National Championship
- Caitlin Kernick earned Diamond First Overall and won National Championship
- Valerie Pena earned Diamond and sixth overall and a Special Award for Lovely Lines
Duo: Natalie and Lillyan Chambers earned Platinum and second overall.
Trio: Ava Dyer, Kiera Fleming and Peyton Markle earned Platinum and fourth overall.
