Wilbur E. Wohlbach, 75, of Springtown (Obituary Brought to You by Heintzelman Funeral Home)

Wilbur E. Wohlbach, 75, of Springtown, formerly of Kresgeville, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Fountain Hill on Dec. 19, 1942 to Margaret (Best) Wohlbach of Bethlehem Township and the late Howard C. Wohlbach. Wilbur served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He worked at Acme Markets in various capacities for 47 years, retiring from the Doylestown store. Wilbur was a member and past president of the Springfield Township Lions Club and the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his mother; children: Timothy E. of Emmaus, Sherry A. of Coopersburg, Jennifer E. (Michael P.) Dorn of Allentown; sister: Sharon Strouse of Allentown; four grandchildren: Timothy B. Wohlbach, Shyanna Gold, Danny Neidert, Starla Wohlbach.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
