Zera–a two-year-old terrier mix–was found locked in a closet inside a church in Bethlehem.
Understandably, she is confused and sad. Zera is being housed in the lower kennel at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare because she is stressed from being at the shelter. Once she gets to know you, however, she is sweet and loves belly rubs. Please ask to see her.
For more information about Zera and other pets in need of homes please visit the no-kill Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton or call 610-252-2722. The shelter is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m. For directions click here. The Center is on Facebook. Like their page for updates about pets up for adoption, special events, fundraisers and more. Saucon Source is proud to donate a portion of proceeds from this story sponsorship to the Center to help support their mission of caring for animals in need.
