Linda Lee Brunner, 74, of Northampton, passed away at Cedarbrook Nursing Home on Jan. 10 in the presence of family and friends. Linda was born in Pawnee City, Neb., on Jan. 3, 1945 to the late Herman and Mae Veora (Buman) Bausch. She graduated from Junction City High School (KS) and soon thereafter traveled to Los Angeles with her friend on vacation. They decided to stay in California. In 1968, Linda married Robert Lawrence Brunner in Redondo Beach, Calif. They raised their three sons in California, Michigan, Missouri, Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, relocating due to employment opportunities. Linda was employed by Mellon Bank in Stroudsburg to help support her sons’ college educations. She then went back to school herself and graduated from Ozark Technical Community College in 2005. Her energy and determination, compassion and sense of humor will be missed dearly.

SURVIVIORS

Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry; brother: James Robert Bausch; sons: Robert Geoffrey (Alison), Robert Alan and James Michael (Andrea); grandchildren Kaleigh, Nolan, Quincy, Owen and Adele.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery Co., Pleasant Valley.
