As the Saucon Valley high school wrestlers prepare for the upcoming 2019 PIAA District XI individual wrestling tournament, the junior high wrestlers participated in their District XI championships.  Once again, the Panthers did not disappoint.  In fact, an argument could easily be made that they overachieved.

With only nine wrestlers penciled into the 18 competitive weight classes, Saucon Valley was able to finish 6th overall out of both the big schools (AAA) and small schools (AA) in District XI.  These powerful Panther pups finished 1st in the AA classification.

Led by tournament champions Tyler Pfizenmayer (140) and Jake Jones (157), Saucon Valley received a herculean effort from their entire short-sided team to distance themselves from the rest of the small-school pack with 138.5 total points.  North Schuylkill, with twenty wrestlers, finished second in the AA classification with 123.5 points.  Saucon Valley was also the top small-school finisher in the 2018 District XI junior high tourney.
