The driver’s side rear window on a family vehicle parked in the 2100 block of Chelsea Lane was smashed by an unknown person or object Saturday, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Tuesday.

The criminal mischief incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., just a few hours before a similar incident took place at Silver Creek Country Club.

In the country club incident, a car window was smashed and a wallet containing $40 cash and a learner’s permit was stolen, police said.

In the Chelsea Lane incident, nothing appeared to have been taken from the vehicle.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
