A motorist who pulled over to the side of Seidersville Road to allow an ambulance to pass was struck by another driver who was following her too closely, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Monday.

According to police, Jing Gao, 44, of Allentown, pulled over shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday as an ambulance with lights and sirens activated was approaching from behind.

Magnus Murry, 18, of the first block of Dogwood Drive, Kennett Square, Chester County, was allegedly following Gao too closely at the time and subsequently “ran into” her car, police said.

Murry was cited for following too closely, according to police.

Neither driver reported injuries following the accident, they said.
