Carolyn L. (Zellner) Anders, 90, of Hellertown, died Monday, July 11, 2016 at Weston Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Hellertown. She was born in Oneida, N.Y., on July 9, 1926 to the late Ansel K. and Olive S. (Jones) Zellner. Carolyn was a school social worker for Carbon Lehigh Intermediate 21-Schnecksville for 16 years until retiring in 1994. She was a member of Mountainview Moravian Church, Hellertown, where she previously sang in the choir and was an Elder. She was a volunteer at Trinity Soup Kitchen in Bethlehem, Miller-Keystone Blood Bank, Northampton County SPCA, Westminster Village Nursing Home, Gracedale, Allentown State Hospital, Meals on Wheels Northampton of County and the Hellertown Lions Club.

Loving children: Nancy S. (Phil) Driscoll of Las Vegas, Nev., Susan S. Anders of Honolulu, Hawaii, Michael L. Anders of Allentown, Robin C. Anders of Macungie, Patrick S. Anders of Quakertown, Cheryl S. (Carrie) Anders of Orefield, Brian W. (Lena) Anders of Austin, Texas; grandchildren: Nicole, DJ, Ryan, Kyle, Abby, James, Lindsay, David, Mila and Martin. She was predeceased by brother: Dr. Carleton M. Zellner.

SERVICE

The service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at the church, 331 Constitution Ave., Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at the Cremation Gardens at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
