In a span of less than two hours early on the morning of July 2 Lower Saucon Township Police made two arrests for DUI following separate traffic stops, according to news releases issued Monday.

Police said the first was at Hickory Hill and Bingen roads at 1:28 a.m., when Teresa Taylor-Woodward, of the 1800 block of Saratoga Drive, Bel Air, Md., was stopped for an alleged traffic infraction.

Taylor-Woodward was found to be intoxicated–with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .09 percent–and also allegedly had an open container of alcohol in her vehicle, police said.

At 2:55 a.m. police said they arrested Jillian Wiegand, of the 3200 block of Bingen Road, Lower Saucon Township, in the parking lot of Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road (Rt. 412), after she was allegedly found “slumped over” her car’s steering wheel in the store’s parking lot.

Police said in their news release that Wiegand’s car was running “and in drive, with her foot on the brake.”

Her BAC was determined to be .10 percent, police said.

The legal BAC limit for motorists in Pennsylvania is typically .08 percent.

Police said both women have been charged with DUI.
