Lower Saucon Township Police said Wednesday that separate citations will be issued to two property owners whose properties are allegedly in violation of township ordinances.

Police said Lawrence Kopp, of the 1800 block of Leithsville Road, will receive a non-traffic citation for allegedly violating the township’s nuisance ordinance.

They said the specific violation is “the accumulation of garbage and rubbish around his property.”

“A warning letter was mailed July 7, 2016, notifying him of the violation, but no effort was made to clean the property up,” they added.

Police also announced that the corporate owner of a foreclosed property in the 2700 block of Wassergass Road will receive a citation for allegedly violating the township’s ordinance on restricted vegetation.

Fay Servicing of Chicago, Ill., has allowed the property to become overgrown with weeds and trees, police said.

“The property has not been cared for for some time,” they said. “Numerous contacts have been made with the company but no action has been taken with the property. It continues to be in violation of the township ordinance on restricted vegetation.”
